Is NailPal free?
Yes. NailPal is completely free and unlimited right now: every feature, no card required. Just sign in with Google. A Premium plan is planned for the future, but it isn't active yet.
How do I add a polish?
Scan the barcode and, if the catalog knows it, the brand and shade name fill in. Or snap a photo of the label and AI reads the brand, name and color for you. You can also type it in by hand.
Can NailPal tell me if I already own a shade?
It flags exact duplicates automatically: log the same polish twice (same brand and name, or same barcode) and it points out the pair. For look-alikes, you keep a searchable swatch photo of everything you own, so you can compare a shade against your collection in seconds before you buy.
Is my collection private?
Yes. Your collection and the photos you upload are private. No other user can see them.
Does NailPal work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in your browser on phone and desktop with nothing to install, so you can check your collection right in the store.
Can I import my existing spreadsheet?
Yes. Import a CSV of your collection and export it any time. Your data stays yours.
